The Good News That Changes Everything

The word “Gospel” literally means “Good News.” But what exactly is this good news, and why is it at the very center of the Christian faith?

The Gospel Message is the heart of Christianity: that through Jesus Christ, God has made a way for every person to be forgiven, made new, and restored into relationship with Him.

The Gospel in 4 Life-Changing Truths

1. God Created You for Relationship

From the beginning, God created humanity in His image—to know Him, walk with Him, and reflect His glory.

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them.”
Genesis 1:27 (NIV)

2. Sin Broke That Relationship

Every human has sinned, and sin separates us from a holy God. The result of sin is spiritual death and eternal separation—unless someone pays the price.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”Romans 3:23 (NIV)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”Romans 6:23 (NIV)

3. Jesus Is God’s Rescue Plan

Out of love, God sent His Son to live a perfect life, die for our sins, and rise from the dead. Jesus paid the full price for our sin and made a way back to the Father.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”John 3:16 (NIV)
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”1 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

4. You Must Respond

Salvation isn’t automatic. Each person must personally repent (turn from sin) and believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord.

“The time has come... The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”Mark 1:15 (NIV)
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith... not by works, so that no one can boast.”Ephesians 2:8–9 (NIV)

What Happens When You Believe?

When you respond to the Gospel, God gives you:

  • Forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14)

  • A new identity (2 Corinthians 5:17)

  • Eternal life (John 5:24)

  • The Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38)

  • Adoption into God’s family (John 1:12)

The Gospel isn't just information—it brings transformation.

Live the Gospel. Share the Gospel.

At United Hive, we believe the Gospel is not only to be preached, but demonstrated through our lives. That’s why our platform exists: to amplify the testimony of Jesus around the world.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”Matthew 5:16 (NIV)
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”Hebrews 10:24 (NIV)

When you post your testimony, you're not just telling your story—you’re continuing the work of the Gospel. Your story:

  • Encourages believers

  • Reaches the lost

  • Gives glory to God

  • Builds faith in future generations

“These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”Joshua 4:7 (NIV)
Just like the memorial stones in Joshua’s day, your testimony becomes a sign for others to know what God has done—and still does today.
